Travel to South-Central Washington and experience the only remaining free-flowing stretch of the Columbia River. We will delight in a jet boat tour on the Columbia River in the Hanford Reach National Monument area. The Monument is a place of sweeping vistas and stark beauty, of towering bluffs and delicate flowers. Wildlife abounds along the river, mule deer, coyotes, bald eagles, great blue herons, white pelicans, and a large elk herd hides in the canyons. Incredibly, even porcupines are a common sight. We will spend the night in comfort with fine dining and very unique accommodations on Clover Island in the Columbia River!
